About this file
This is a Purchasing Memorandum issued by the Office of the New York State Attorney General (OAG) providing notification of a delay in posting answers to questions submitted for RFI 26-002 regarding a Modern eDiscovery Platform with Secure AI Supported Capabilities. The RFI seeks vendor information on modern eDiscovery platforms supporting intake, processing, review, analytics, production, and FOIL/public records workflows with advanced AI capabilities aligned with New York State standards. Originally, the OAG planned to issue answers to submitted questions by July 31, 2026, with RFI responses due August 11, 2026. Due to additional time required to finalize official responses, the OAG extended both dates: answers to questions are now anticipated by close of business August 6, 2026, and RFI responses are now due August 18, 2026. Questions may be submitted to purchase@ag.ny.gov, and responses are submitted via email to the same address. This is an information-gathering vehicle only and does not constitute a commitment to procure; the RFI may inform a future competitive solicitation.
No formal pricing or binding quotes are required for this RFI phase. Vendors should provide high-level cost structure overviews including typical pricing models, estimated cost ranges, and five-year total cost of ownership. Responses must not exceed 25 pages and include a cover letter, company overview demonstrating government experience, technical responses addressing eight capability areas (platform functionality, secure AI capabilities, security and compliance, administration and governance, integration requirements, accessibility and usability, implementation and support, and cost structure overview), security and compliance documentation summaries, and references from government or public sector clients. The service region is the Albany Capital Region. All response costs are the sole responsibility of interested vendors. The OAG may request vendor presentations and demonstrations for clarification but may proceed with a future solicitation without them.
