RFB-IS-26201061 IS VMWare Enterprise Agreement Multi-Year.pdf

This is a Request for Bid (RFB) document for a VMware Enterprise Agreement multi-year software subscription contract issued by the State of California. The RFB seeks qualified vendors to provide VMware Enterprise Agreement licensing and support services. The contract is structured as a multi-year agreement with the primary objective of enabling the state to procure comprehensive VMware virtualization and cloud infrastructure solutions at enterprise pricing levels. The solicitation establishes a framework for the state to obtain VMware products and associated maintenance and support services across its information technology infrastructure. The response requirements, evaluation criteria, and contract terms are detailed within the RFB to guide potential bidders through the submission and award process.

The pricing structure for this agreement is negotiated on a per-unit basis through the Enterprise Agreement framework, with costs dependent on the specific VMware products selected, deployment scope, and support service levels required by the state. The contract includes multi-year pricing commitments with potential cost adjustments outlined in the agreement terms. As a state-level procurement, this opportunity may include preferences for California-based vendors or small business set-asides if applicable under state regulations. The funding for this software subscription agreement is sourced from California state IT budgets, with costs allocated across relevant agencies utilizing the VMware platform. The multi-year term allows for budget planning and ensures continuity of critical virtualization and cloud infrastructure services across the state's technology environment.
