About this file

This document is a response to vendor questions regarding Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC) Requisition #R331374 for Bid #27-426DOC-MENAR-R-331374 at the Menard Correctional Center. The document addresses clarifications needed during the competitive bidding process for evidence-related supplies and materials.

The requisition covers the procurement of evidence tape, tubes, integrity strips, biohazard labels, evidence bags, and chain of possession documentation. A vendor question identified a discrepancy between the BidBuy system line item quantity and the Board of Agreement (BOA) template for biohazard ID labels, where BidBuy initially showed a quantity of 1 while the BOA template indicated 2 units. IDOC clarified and corrected this inconsistency by updating BidBuy to reflect the accurate quantity of 2 for the biohazard ID labels line item to ensure vendors had consistent information for bid preparation.
