About this file

This document is a Change Order Notice from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources regarding a contract for the procurement of Fathead Minnows under BidBuy Reference Number 20-422DNR-RESCO-B11653. The change order is required to increase the unit price for minnows delivered to the hatcheries from $2.50 per pound to $2.75 per pound, due to recent increases in fuel, labor, and feed costs. The total increase in pricing is $28,500, but the contract maximum amount remains unchanged. The original procurement method was an Invitation for Bid (IFB), and the circumstances for the change were unforeseeable at the time the contract was executed.

The vendor, Peter W. Reiff DBA Logan Hollow Fish Farm, can no longer provide minnows for the hatcheries at the original contract price, and has requested the increase in unit price. The change order is being issued in accordance with Illinois state laws governing changes to contracts. No other changes are being made to the contract terms or scope of work.
