About this file
This document is a Property and Casualty Insurance specification document for the Illinois State Police Asset Forfeiture Section, detailing insurance requirements for six properties located across various Illinois municipalities including Oak Park, Joliet, Mendota, East Alton, Taylorville, and Rockford. The properties were acquired through asset forfeiture and range in age from 1914 to 1970, with insured values between $25,000 and $551,130.
The insurance coverage specifications include Commercial General Liability and Commercial Property Coverage with specific limits: a $2,000,000 General Aggregate Limit, $1,000,000 Personal and Advertising Injury Limit, $1,000,000 Each Occurrence Limit, and a $2,500 deductible. The policy term is from July 30, 2025, through July 29, 2026, with flexible terms allowing for property additions and removals as the Illinois State Police acquire or sell asset forfeiture properties. Three of the six properties (located in Mendota, East Alton, and Taylorville) are currently vacant, and the agency is actively seeking to sell all listed properties during the policy period.
