About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers addendum to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Department of Human Services (DHS) for Network Video Recorders, specifically referenced as IFB B-5144. The document clarifies procurement requirements and vendor qualifications for interested bidders.

The procurement concerns the supply of Axis S1296 Rack 96 TB network video recorders with no installation services required from the vendor. The contract specifies a geographic distribution requirement, with six units to be shipped to Shapiro and four units to be shipped to Ludeman Center. A critical qualification requirement mandates that vendors must be authorized distributors or resellers as defined in Section 1.4.1 of the IFB; prime vendors cannot subcontract with authorized resellers but must themselves hold authorized distributor or reseller status to be eligible for contract award.
