About this file
This is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) document from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, seeking to procure trade show and exhibit services from Diversified Communications for the Seafood Expo North America. The document outlines the intent to purchase rental booth space for the "Fresh From Florida" pavilion, with the contract term running from the date of execution through June 30, 2026. The posting is dated 05/30/2025, with the last day for receipt of information set as 06/20/2025, and is being conducted in accordance with Sections 120.57(3) and 287.057(3) of Florida Statutes.
The estimated contract value is approximately $87,500.00, with a maximum budget of up to $100,000.00. The justification for the single-source acquisition is that Diversified Communications is the sole host of the Seafood Expo North America trade show. The purpose of this procurement aligns with the Florida Agricultural Promotional Campaign Act (Chapter 571, Part II), which aims to market and promote Florida agricultural commodities, value-added products, and agricultural-related businesses. The project will involve reaching consumers, agriculture industry members, and educators through active participation in industry meetings and events during the trade show.
