The solicitation is for one (1) 1000 Watt high power, pulsed, solid state laser system specifically designed for ablative laser cleaning, with additional unspecified technical specifications. The contract is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type with standard government contract provisions, including representations regarding telecommunications equipment, commercial item acquisition clauses, and various Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) commercial clauses.

Key administrative details include normal work hours from 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM Monday through Friday, with work restricted on weekends and federal holidays. The contractor will perform services at Army Research Laboratory, with government inspection and acceptance to be conducted by an authorized representative.
