About this file

This is a Proposer RFP Checklist document for the City of Santa Monica, California, related to a Code Enforcement Services contract opportunity. The City seeks qualified firms to provide professional Code Enforcement Officers on an on-call basis to support the Code Enforcement Division during periods of high workloads, subject to funding availability and proper delegation of authority. The services requested encompass code enforcement expertise across Building and Safety, Property Maintenance, Nuisances, Regulatory, and Zoning compliance areas as they relate to the Santa Monica Municipal Code. Proposers must attend the pre-proposal conference if offered, submit questions by specified deadlines, review all formal addenda posted on the City's OpenGov vendor portal, follow all specified response formats, and submit proposals by the deadline noted on the RFP front page, as late submissions are not accepted.

The checklist emphasizes that proposals will be evaluated solely on information and materials provided in written responses and that proposers must submit signed acknowledgments for each addendum issued. Proposers are instructed to read the entire RFP document carefully to identify mandatory requirements, contract requirements including insurance and performance reporting obligations, and all critical submittal details. The document does not specify pricing terms, contract amounts, funding sources, incumbent information, or specific response and award dates, as these details are contained in the main RFP document referenced throughout the checklist.
