Training Proposal for the Office of Executive Inspector General September 15, 2025
Summary Below are descriptions of our Generational program and Conflict/De-escalation program (that will be customized to a 60 minute and 90-minute format), as well as the key learning outcomes of each program, the unique features of our training programs, and investment information.
Course Description: Building Stronger Multi-Generational Teams Due to increased longevity in the U.S. and around the world, there are four generations in the workplace today. And each of these generations has unique priorities, communication preferences, and work styles. In this course, participants learn about these generations and how to best leverage their strengths and address their needs, as well as how to increase trust, cooperation, and productivity on their teams.
Key Learning Outcomes Participants will:
· Learn about the socialization and values of the employees of four generations:
· Gen Z (1995-2012)
· Millennial (1980-1994)
· Generation X (1965-1979)
· Baby Boomers (1946-1964)
· Increase awareness of how generational differences impact how employees perceive each other’s behavior on a team
· Improve understanding of how generational differences impact communication with co-workers
· Learn Best Practices for adapting behavior and communication to increase trust and collaboration on a team
· Develop a personal action plan for demonstrating respect and building relationships with co-workers of different generations
Course Description: Conflict De-escalation Empower your staff to de-escalate tense situations confidently. This high-impact training helps staff understand the root causes of client frustration and equips staff with proven de-escalation techniques. Real-world scenarios offer hands-on practice linked to the R.E.D. Model of critical thinking.
Key Learning Outcomes:
Participants will:
· Understand the common causes of client dissatisfaction and anger
· Explore cross-cultural differences in expressing conflict or frustration
· Learn and practice de-escalation strategies using role-specific case studies
· Handle situations involved in taking complaints, interviewing individuals, and conducting investigations of misconduct – examples to be provided by OEIG
Unique Features of Our Training Programs Below are four key features of our training programs:
· Customized – Training sessions are tailored to the employees’ knowledge of the topic. The training materials and approach meet the unique needs, challenges, and opportunities of the organization and employees.
· A Safe Space for Dialogue – Skilled facilitation creates a compassionate, non-shaming environment in which employees can honestly discuss how generational issues and high stress situations impact their interactions with others.
· Highly Interactive – Training includes videos, simulations, case studies, online assessments, and small and large group discussions.
· Practical – Employees practice critical skills for increasing the quality of their interactions with others. And they leave with a plan they can immediately implement to increase their effectiveness in a diverse workplace.
Investment The non-profit fee to customize and deliver a 60 – 90 min. training program is $1,400. And two sessions combined in a half-day are $2,800 and spread over a full day - over a morning and afternoon - are $3,200.
