About this file

This is a Price Schedule for a lodging and support services bid submitted to the State of Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for the Lake Vermilion Muskie Population Estimate project. The project requires procurement of lodging, meeting space, storage, parking, and on-site marina accommodations for up to 12 people for approximately four weeks beginning at ice-out in spring 2027. The facility must be located on the North side of Lake Vermilion within 10 miles of the Vermilion Dam at Kabetogama State Forest. Bidders are required to provide detailed pricing for cabin accommodations with specified room and bathroom configurations, ensuring each attendee receives a single room. The response deadline was established with a question submission cutoff of October 19 at 2:00 PM CST, with responses submitted through the Supplier Portal by the specified finish time.

The price schedule requires bidders to itemize all costs on a line-item basis, including nightly lodging rates per person, amenities such as cleaning services, grill use, meeting space, Wi-Fi, storage, parking, boat and ramp access, dock and mooring space, and repair labor rates. Bidders must state all charges in United States currency, as the State will not reimburse unlisted expenses. The schedule includes a detailed cancellation policy framework requiring vendors to specify cancellation fees in dollar amounts for both lodging and other services based on notice periods ranging from prior to project dates through less than 24 hours notice. The contractor agrees to accept responsibility for all stated cancellation fees and waives the right to seek additional costs or fees beyond those itemized on the price schedule.
