About this file

This is a Request for Bids (RFB) document issued by the City of Inglewood, California, for pressure washing and bus shelter cleaning services to be provided on a predetermined schedule administered by the Public Works Director or designee. The scope of work requires the selected contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and supplies necessary to clean and maintain bus shelters and adjacent areas within 10 feet of bus stops. Services include removal of trash, gum, stickers, graffiti, debris, and human bio-waste from sidewalks, bus shelters, street furniture, and trash receptacles using pressure washing equipment, with treatment of foul-smelling stains using fragrant disinfectant. The contractor must maintain neat and clean site conditions while acknowledging that ongoing development and construction in Inglewood may periodically interrupt routine maintenance and require prompt notification to the City regarding potential problems.

The document does not specify pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, response deadlines, or bid due dates within the provided content. No information regarding set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding sources, or award amounts is detailed in this excerpt. The RFB indicates that site conditions and service requirements must be maintained to the City's standards, with the contractor expected to adapt to the changing conditions typical of a developing municipality.

Bids to Owner's Agent

Scope of Services The City of Inglewood (City) is issuing this Request for Bids (RFB) for the pressure washing and bus shelter cleaning services on a predetermined schedule provided by the City. The City seeks bids for a service agreement with a qualified contractor to provide the pressure washing and bus shelter cleaning services. All day-to-day operations regarding these services will be administered by the Public Works Director or his designee.

The site conditions are to be kept neat and clean in appearance. It should be understood that Inglewood is a continuously growing and changing area.

Development and construction will, from time to time, cause damage or interrupt the routine maintenance program. It is important that potential problems caused by these procedures be brought to the City's attention as soon as possible for action.

The Bidder will furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, supplies, and all efforts necessary to clean and remove all trash, gum, stickers, graffiti, debris, and human bio-waste from sidewalks and bus shelters, adjacent to and within 10 feet of bus stops and bus shelters, on and around street furniture, including trash receptacles, using pressure washing equipment. Treat foul-smelling stains with fragrant disinfectant.
