1.

Pre-Proposal Site Visit 1.1 A site visit will be offered at the place of performance identified in the PWS for the Computer Room 1 Cable Tray Support System Replacement project, Data Center San Antonio, TX. The site visit is scheduled for August 5, 2021, 0900 am Central Time (CDT) during which contractors may obtain a better understanding of the work required. Offerors are strongly urged to attend this site visit to fully inform themselves about the location and conditions under which the work is to be performed.

1.2 All questions from the site visit, must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer no later than 3 business days after the site visit (August 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm Central). A record of the site visit and answers to the questions submitted will be distributed to all contractors as an amendment to the solicitation. Contractors are cautioned that, notwithstanding any remarks or clarifications given at the site visit, all terms and conditions of the contract apply unless changed in writing by the Contracting Officer.

1.3 Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, per the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance, fully vaccinated personnel (who are at least two weeks beyond their final dose) are no longer required to wear a mask indoors or outdoors at DoD facilities. All personnel should continue to comply with CDC guidance regarding areas where masks should be worn. Personnel who are not fully vaccinated should continue to follow applicable DoD mask guidance, including continuing to wear masks indoors.

2. Proposed Site Visit Itinerary

09:00 am - Meet interested contractor representatives in the lobby of Data Center San Antonio at:

3326 General Hudnell (Bldg. 200) San Antonio, TX 78226 (Please allow adequate time to Sign-In, parking is available across the main street to the north.)

09:15 am - Project Overview and Location Tour with DISA staff. (No phones or photos allowed.)

11:00 am - Conclude Site Visit and depart facility.

3. Visitor Access Requirements A Visit Authorization Letter (VAL) is required for all individuals requesting visitor access to the facility. The request must be on file with the Data Center San Antonio Security Office at least 5 calendar days prior to the actual date of the site visit (July 30,2021 / 1:00 PM Central). Companies are required to provide a Visit Authorization Letter listing each employee visiting or working at a Data Center facility. The letter must be on company letterhead, signed by the company’s Facility Security Officer (FSO) or responsible POC (Owner, Division Mgr, or Program Mgr) and contain the following information:

1) Company’s Name and Address

2) Name and Address of the Facility to be Visited: DISA Data Center San Antonio

San Antonio, TX 78226

3) Date of Visit: August 5, 2021

4) Purpose of Visit: “Pre-Proposal Site Survey for Computer Room 1 Cable Tray Support System Replacement”

5) Contract Solicitation Number: HC102821R0063

6) Full Name and Telephone Number of Hosting Facility’s POCs:

4. Visit Authorization Letter (VAL) Submission The VAL will be sent (via e-mail) from the company to the Security Manager at the Data Center site where the work is to be performed. Request responding Vendors state Pre-Proposal Site Visit for “CR1 Cable Tray Support Replacement Project" on the Visit Request e-mail.
