About this file

This document is a Scope of Work for Planned Generator Maintenance Services for the state of South Carolina, detailing comprehensive semi-annual and annual maintenance requirements for generator systems. The scope covers two primary service periods: semi-annual inspections and tests in January 2026 and annual generator services in July 2025. The maintenance services include detailed checks and procedures across multiple generator system components, such as cooling air, engine intake/exhaust, cooling systems, fuel systems, lubrication systems, battery and charger systems, generator control and power systems, and overall generator operations. Specific tasks range from inspecting air filters and checking coolant levels to performing emergency shutdown tests and conducting NFPA 110 Annual Generator - ATS System Tests using Emergency Power Building Loads.

The scope of work includes comprehensive technical specifications for maintaining generator infrastructure, with a focus on preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and system reliability. The annual services involve more extensive maintenance, including replacing engine lubrication oil, fuel and coolant filters, and draining condensate from fuel/water separators. Additional requirements include operator safety checks, inspecting fan shrouds and guards, checking generator room access and lighting, and providing annual certification for insurance and fire marshal requirements. While specific pricing is not detailed in the document, the extensive and structured maintenance plan suggests a robust approach to maintaining critical emergency power infrastructure across multiple locations in South Carolina.
