About this file

This document is an introductory cover page and instructional guide for CDMRP (Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs) funding opportunity applications. It establishes the relationship between two key documents required for applicants: the program announcement and the General Application Instructions (GAI). The program announcement specifies what must be submitted in an application, while the GAI provides detailed procedural guidance on how to prepare and submit applications.

Applicants are instructed to access the GAI through hyperlinks provided in the program announcement and to verify that the GAI version matches the version referenced on the program announcement's front page. This document serves as a gateway directing applicants to locate and use the appropriate version-matched documentation to ensure compliance with application requirements and submission procedures.

CDMRP Funding Opportunity Application Instructions:

The General Application Instructions (GAI) are designed to be read in conjunction with the program announcement for a funding opportunity offered by the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP).

The program announcement provides basic information necessary to prepare an application (i.e., what to submit), whereas the GAI provides additional details and instruction for both application preparation and submission (i.e., how to submit).

To access the General Application Instructions, use the hyperlinks provided in the program announcement. For accurate referencing, ensure that the version on the cover page of the GAI matches the version specified on the front page of the program announcement.
