About this file

This document is an introductory guide to CDMRP funding opportunity application instructions. The General Application Instructions (GAI) are companion materials designed to be read alongside the program announcement for funding opportunities offered by the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP). The program announcement provides basic information about what to submit in an application, while the GAI furnishes supplementary details and procedural guidance on how to submit applications.

Applicants must ensure version alignment between the GAI and the program announcement for accurate referencing. The GAI can be accessed through hyperlinks provided in the program announcement and covers both application preparation and submission procedures. This document serves as a foundational reference rather than a standalone application guide and requires cross-reference with the corresponding program announcement for complete application instructions.
