About this file
This document is a contract extension letter from Securus Monitoring (a subsidiary of Aventiv) to the North Dakota State Procurement Office, addressing the extension of a NASPO (National Association of State Procurement Officials) Master Agreement No. 00212 and its associated Participating Addendum. The letter is dated July 18, 2023, and is signed by Paula Haines, Corporate Counsel - Commercial for Aventiv, and addressed to Chad Keech from the North Dakota State Procurement Office.
The extension pertains to an Electronic Monitoring contract and will remain in effect until December 31, 2023, or until a new NASPO Electronic Monitoring master agreement is established. The agreement ensures that all existing terms, conditions, prices, and price discounts remain valid during this extension period. The document includes a survivorship clause that preserves key contractual provisions even after the contract's termination, covering areas such as confidentiality, dispute resolution, and liability. The extension was mutually agreed upon and signed by representatives from both Securus Monitoring and the State of North Dakota on August 18, 2023.
