About this file

This document consists of the Questions and Answers related to a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the NASA Ames Research Center (ARC) for a Voice Communications System (VCS) for their Future Flight Central (FFC) simulation environment.

The RFI seeks information from potential vendors for a turnkey VCS with 36 integrated communication stations, of which 34 are user stations and 2 are for administration and development. The VCS must support various voice communication features such as two-way radio, intercom, and station-to-station dial-up, with the ability to configure exercises and save/restore settings. It should also capture metrics for human factors assessments. Interested vendors are asked to submit a capability statement of 3 pages or less by April 30, 2024. No solicitation exists yet, but if one is released, it will be posted on SAM.gov, and it is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor that site.
