VENDOR Q&A

Questions and Answers

UNITAS PAC & TWS 2019 Execution

1. Are the requirements the same for each tab, 312, 321, O&MN, PH and IT as many of the cells in the tab sheets did not total or populate the summary table?

ANSWER: The Government is resending the BID SCHEDULE. The updated BID SCHEDULE will only have the applicable cells highlighted in yellow for each individual tab which will populate the summary table.

2. Why is there is no PWS provided?

ANSWER: The PWS is located in the solicitation that was emailed with the BID SCHEDULE on 30

MAY 2019.

3. Did the Government reserve a block of rooms at the Sheraton Hotel for the same dates?

ANSWER: The Government has rooms blocked at the Sheraton for US personnel only. Any extras were released on 15 May 2019.

4. C.1.9.4. states, USN P8 Detachment (Santiago). Does this mean that each day USN P8 will make round trips from Santiago or Valparaiso or Vina del Mar or vice a versa?

ANSWER: P-8 will primarily remain in Santiago. Expect one (1) van to have to make trips to

Valparaiso to support meetings with leadership and to transfer a liaison officer – best guess is 24-26

June 2019, 3-6 July 2019 and 13

July 2019. This is subject to change. There are 4 ceremonies that are guaranteed requirements – each on a different day.

5. Which groups will require trips on a daily basis between Santiago or Valparaiso or Vina del Mar or vice a versa? How many vehicles might this be?

ANSWER: As each van is added, it is to account for the arrival of personnel in country at Santiago international airport and transfer to Valpairso except for C.1.9.4. whom will remain IVO Santiago.

6. Is all of C.1.9.4 based in Santiago?

ANSWER: Yes P-8 Detachment is in Santiago at Chilean Air Force Base – Grupo 10.

N6883619Q0204

7. Can the Government please advise estimated mileage per day?

ANSWER: As stated in PWS all vehicles should be able to go to any location in C.1.1.3. within a timeframe with unlimited mileage.

8. Can the Government please advise estimated number of trips to Santiago City per day or per week?

ANSWER: Most travel between Santiago and Valparaiso are airport pick up/drop offs. Each vehicle that starts a different day corresponds with arrival days of personnel at Santiago Airport on front end of exercise. 5 July 2019 is the busiest day of transfers to Santiago, which includes PN and US

Personnel.

US Personnel approx. 10 – (included in Logistics and COMS vehicle) arrive in Santiago on 17 June

2019, stay in Santiago until traveling with line haul on 18 June 2019 to Valparaiso.

Next US Personnel arrive 20 June 2019.

MDSU/EOD teams arrive 21 June 2019 in Santiago and their vans need to pick them up and transfer them to Valparaiso and return them to airport on or about 4-6 July 2019.

Rest of US Personnel also arrive 22 - 23 June 2019 with PN arriving 23 June 2019.

LOGS and COMS vans will depart for Santiago on or about 15 July 2019 (+/- 48 hours); will remain in Santiago until gear is flown out.
