1. REQUIREMENTS
2.1 General
The contractor shall manufacture, assemble, test, and deliver Nitrogen Servicing Units, P/N 1317AS100-2, in accordance with the government furnished drawing package, this SOW, and the terms and conditions of the contract.
The Nitrogen Servicing Unit consists of a welded frame mounted on a two-wheel axle. It is equipped with a retractable swivel caster and a boost pump. Compressed gas cylinders are mounted on the frame in two groups of three cylinders. A hose and tool box is attached to the frame between the two groups of cylinders. The control panel assembly contains a purifier, filter, regulator, valves, gages, and plumbing. An operated brake system sets the servicing unit during operation and storage. A drawbar coupler ring on the front of the frame allows the Nitrogen Servicing Unit to be towed by a Ground Support Equipment Tow Tractor (or equivalent) that is equipped with a pintle hook assembly. The manufacturing, assembly and production of this item shall be accomplished at the contractor’s facilities.
This will be a five-year, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a maximum total of (60) Nitrogen Servicing Units.

The units produced by the Contractor shall be in compliance with the Baseline Configuration established by the technical data package. The Contractor shall develop a Configuration Management (CM) Program, using PMA 260 Configuration Management Plan for Aviation Support Equipment dated 18 April 2013 for guidance. Configuration changes are defined as additions, deletions, supersedures, or modification of the unit or any part of the unit during the performance of the contract. Configuration changes shall be approved in writing, prior to any design change implementation. Any changes affecting form, fit or function will require Government approval via Request For Deviation and/or Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) IAW the CM plan. Prior to ECP implementation, acceptance testing is required to demonstrate compliance with existing government specification requirements. The ECP must also identify any changes required to technical manuals, logistics product data, drawings, specifications, etc. At the government’s discretion, logistic product data may be required. Source Control Drawings may be required as part of the request. If noncompliance with the established configuration baseline becomes necessary, the Contractor shall Request for Deviation. (CDRL B002)
