SECTION SF 30 - BLOCK 14 CONTINUATION PAGE

The following have been added by full text:

AMD 0001

1. The purpose of this amendment is to provide technical clarification to offerors on solicitation N68335-14-R-0123 MHU-191A/M Munitions Transporter Wheels and Brake Cables as follows:

Question 1: Missing Quantities - There are 6 parts listed in appendix A, however in the rightmost column, quantities required for the MHU191 A/M are only provided for 3 of the 6 part types. Are quotes desired for the other part types (Hub Cap, Wheel Rim, and Wheel Bearing) ? If quotes are desired, additional quantity information is needed.

Answer 1: The Statement of Work and Technical Drawings are valid and correct as supplied.

Question 2: Restricted NSNs - For the Brake Cable Assembly (1740-01-622-1434), and Wheel Assembly Front (1740-01-622-1431) and Wheel Assembly Rear (1740-01-622-1433), the NSN's provided are listed in IHS Haystack database (derived from government sources on a daily basis) with an Acquisition Method Code and Suffix of 3H, indicating that there is a designated supplier for the part (Listed as Deval), and that the government does not have the drawings. Given the restrictive information associated with the NSN, are we authorized to manufacture the part ? Is the 3H designation invalid ?

Answer 2: The 3H designation has no bearing on this procurement. Parts are to be manufactured in accordance with the accompanying Technical Drawings.

Question 3: Am I allowed to provide the export-controlled drawings to other companies?

Answer 3: It is the potential offeror’s responsibility to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the distribution of export-controlled information.

2. Signed amendments shall be submitted in accordance with Section L of the solicitation.

3. The solicitation closing date is not extended.
