About this file

This document contains an amendment to a federal solicitation and the related federal contract opportunity. The amendment provides responses to industry questions about the solicitation and makes minor revisions. Key details include:

  • The solicitation is for operational and logistics support services for open ocean special projects for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division in Newport, Rhode Island. The contract will be a cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity agreement for a period of five years.

  • The amendment answers nine questions from industry, clarifies that a facility clearance is not required, and extends the closing date for proposals to March 23, 2020. It also revises the description for CLIN 0002 to specify that offerors must provide the maximum fee rate charged for task orders.

  • The related federal contract opportunity provides additional context, stating the solicitation number, pre-solicitation status, description of services sought, NAICS code of 541990, $15 million small business size standard, and point of contact for any questions.
