Could you please tell me if the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation posted as solicitation number N6600119Q6472 on FBO contains requirements similar to any work performed currently or in the past, or will this be a new requirement? If possible, can you please provide the most recent contract or task order number?
Answer: This is a new requirement.
Reviewing N66001-19-Q-6472 with my team it appears that your solution is limited to Cambium microwave equipment. I wanted to understand whether this effort is intended to increase capacity or just replace aging equipment. There are other options out there to improve network capacity to allow for growth as network demands increase… Part of my initial concern is that the Cambium solution is not preparing the network for 5G.
Answer: This effort is replacing older antiquated equipment that is end of life end of support.
Wireless broadband equipment approved by Chief Engineer for data throughput based on future requirements.
Please provide more details regarding PVC conduit, including photos of existing conduit to be replaced if possible.
1) Please provide approximate length of conduit runs and OD of PVC conduit.
2) Please advise if junction boxes are required, and also provide any other available information regarding the PVC conduit runs.
Answer: The 1 inch PVC piping at the antenna end and when it enters the building requires replacement. No more than a foot on each side. The junction box (the antenna end) cover is hanging on by 1 screw. Extra cable from antenna to junction box is loosely hanging out. Cable needs to be pulled neatly through the junction box and cover installed. Please see new Attachment 2.
