1. I want to confirm we are replacing the existing system in it’s entirety, to include the following:

This project includes designing and replacing control systems to operate with the existing HVAC system to remain.

a. Air handler and chiller controllers in a new Panel.

Yes, complete control system replacement.

b. Front end system with web enabled user browser to be accessed in Robert’s office.

Front end shall be operated through a standalone laptop with interface connection in the mechanical room. System cannot/should not be accessed through internet. Laptop to be provided by contractor.

c. Communications bus to all 16 air handlers, chilled water valves, chiller, and pumps Yes; 3 AH’s, 13 Fancoils, 2 chilled water pumps, 1 chiller, 7 Exhaust fans, 1 Expansion Tank.

d. Graphics package Yes.

e. Bypass control at each air handler Controls shall be configured based on existing mechanical system capabilities.

f. As builts and design drawings Yes.

g. Training 8 or 16 hours 8 hours of training required.

2. Please confirm there is an ethernet port at the existing control panel in the air handler room. There was an IP address written on the paperwork so I assume so. Confirm Government will supply an IP address, if there is not one Ethernet port located at existing control panel. The system should operate as a standalone system that does not allow access from outside of the building.

3. Confirm there is strip heat . We did not find a boiler on the job site Central boiler at B513 provides hot water to building.

4. Confirm no asbestos requirement. If so, please provide direction An asbestos report is not available for Bldg 521, if asbestos is found during project please inform the TPOC immediately.

5. Confirm there are 2‐way valves in the ceiling above each fan coil. Confirm we are replacing valve actuators for each 2‐way valves located at FC level. Can be accessed by removing FC cover. Valve actuators shall be replaced.

6. How many zone boxes are in the main bullpen area?

3 Zones. North(AH3)/Center(AH2)/South(AH1)
