The Government will review and respond to the submitted report. Additional repairs related to the found condition will be tasked if determined necessary by the Government. In the event difficulty is encountered in meeting requirements or difficulty is anticipated in complying with the contract schedule dates, immediately notify the Contracting Officer via verbal communication with the TPOC/MMO. Provide the TPOC/MMO a written report stating pertinent details as to why requirements cannot be met the following work day. Receipt of this notification by the Government is not to be construed as a waiver of the requirements, delivery schedule, or waiver of rights or remedies provided by law or under this contract, or any other requirements in the PWS relating to jeopardy of contract schedule dates.
2.56.1.1 Submission of this report does not authorize the Contractor to perform additional work not covered by the contract or authorized by the Contracting Officer.
2.56.2 When work does not require a report, and one is determined to be necessary in order to produce a reliable or complete repair, submit one legible copy, in approved transferrable media, of a report with supporting data as early as possible in the contract period to the Contracting Officer, via the TPOC. The goal is to have required work completed within the original contract period.
2.56.3 For required reports that could result in a change in work to be accomplished or additional material to be procured, complete the preliminary documentation and submit one legible copy, in approved transferrable media, of the required report in a time frame to allow the Contracting Officer, via the TPOC, to initiate early action, but no later than the first 20 percent of the availability.

2.60.1 Institute a weight control program in which actual weights, for removed, relocated and installed equipment/structure, are measured by either weighing or from manufacturer certified data. The location of the center of the load must be recorded along with each weight entry in the weight control report. This location will show the distance vertically from the baseline of the vessel, longitudinally from amidships, and tangentially from the centerline of the vessel. Items that are permanently removed and replaced with the identical item, in the same location, are not required to be included in the weight control report. Items that are replaced with like items of differing material or quantity shall be included in the weight control report. Items that are new installations shall be included in the weight report. Submit a final weight control report to the TPOC 48 hours prior to undocking. Submit additional reports to the TPOC if changes are made after undocking.
