Bridge Crane Question and Answer (Q&A) Sheet

The Government will be posting all questions and answers from Solicitation N4523A18R1313 on a series of Q&A documents. The Q&A documents will be posted to the government point of entry weekly throughout the length of the solicitation period. Please be aware that any questions asked and responses to those questions will be posted to the Q&A documents, the government requests that all questions be of non-proprietary nature and allow for public dissemination.

Question 1: What are the details of the Site Visit – time, location, etc.?

Companies need to submit the name of the driver(s) (first and last name, company name) that will need a parking pass to Stacy Impey via email at Stacey.impey@navy.mil.

It is essential that all attendees bring proof of citizenship – current passport or original birth certificate.

Site visit will be conducted on 5/15/2018.

Companies choosing to participate in the site visit shall plan on getting all their personnel through the badging process at the Pass and ID office by 10:00AM. The Pass and ID opens at 7:00AM and the badging process will take between one and two hours. Two hour parking is available.

Contractors will be greeted by a government representative between 9:00 to 9:30. You will be escorted from the Pass and ID office to reserved parking area.

Government representatives will provide transportation from the parking area to the contracting office by 10:00AM.

From 10:00 to 10:30 we will hold a meet and greet and provide site visit ground rules.

From 10:30 to 12:00 contractors will be escorted into the shipyard to conduct the site visit.
