The vendor will provide comprehensive service including labor, travel, and parts during normal business hours for one year, with on-site preventative maintenance to be completed at 11333 Woodglen Drive in Rockville, MD. Key requirements include using ISO and/or OEM certified technicians, providing unlimited repairs and parts, and offering 1-3 days of on-site technician support for service requests.
The contract specifies that repairs and replacement parts must be completed in a timely manner throughout the contract duration. The service will cover full maintenance of the FXP unit and its components, with technicians expected to provide comprehensive support including travel and technical assistance. The specific location and detailed service expectations suggest this is a targeted maintenance contract for a specialized scientific instrument used by the Naval Medical Research Command's Bone Marrow Research Program.
