QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
20 April 2022
The following are answers to questions received from potential offerors. The answers provide clarification only and DO NOT constitute an amendment to the solicitation.
1. The RFP contains a VISA priority. Please confirm this evaluation priority as these types of special mission charters do not usually involve the movement of cargo, under which a VISA priority would be appropriate.
ANSWER: The VISA priority is appropriate. Based on having full reach of the ship for any resulting time charter, the vessel will likely be tasked with duties beyond submarine rescue, which will involve the movement of items or equipment between two ports, thus, the requirement for VISA priority.
