QUESTION AND ANSWERS

QUESTION AND ANSWER

Manchester Fuel Depot in Manchester WA.

1) Does this project involve the replacement of existing cameras? Yes, that is the project, replacing all existing base cameras.

2) Is the replacement of the cable part of this RFQ? Yes. Currently there is fiber infrastructure that camera’s connect to. Existing camera’s utilize copper, so a switch is required to connect incoming fiber and CAT 5 cables going to camera.

3) Are we to include any licensing for the new cameras? Yes, licensing is required

4) Will a lift be required for this project? If so, how high a lift is required? 40’ articulating lift is required as a minimum. Most cameras are on poles or tops of 2 story buildings.

5) Will the cameras require any mounting hardware? This would include wall mounts, corner mounts, pole mounts, and fiber interface mounts. Contractor is mounting new cameras, so mounting hardware could potentially be reused if compatible, but ultimately mounting is the responsibility of the contractor. Recommend a site walk for contractor to verify
