About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) for an Ultra High Pressure Hot Isostatic Press with 100,000-psi max pressure. The RFI is being conducted by the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) to gauge industry interest and search for potential sources capable of fulfilling this requirement.

The RFI outlines the key technical specifications for the Ultra High Pressure Hot Isostatic Press, including the pressure vessel, heating system, computer controls, and canister sealing package. Interested parties are asked to provide a capability statement addressing their ability to meet the specified requirements. The response should include information on the commerciality of the proposed item, a product description, and how the proposed solution meets or exceeds the stated specifications. Responses are limited to 10 pages. The RFI does not guarantee a forthcoming solicitation, but is for informational and planning purposes only.
