Video Surveillance System requirements;
A contractor will provide and install one (1) surveillance system with the following requirements:
A. Four (4) monitors with mounting brackets, Monitor size not to exceed 24 inches. To be mounted in various locations within the suite. The monitors will all display video feed of all eight cameras simultaneously. One (1) additional monitor with a display extender from the head-end equipment.
B. Eight (8) High Definition, indoor, mini-dome, IP ready cameras with built in recording and motion detection. Capable of recording on a 24 hour loop, motion activated for the duration individuals are in the site of the camera. 3 Megapixel, Progressive Scan CMOS Sensor, Vandal-Proof, Weather-Proof Infrared IP Mini-Dome
Camera. The cameras should be set up at 320x240 image resolution, one frame every 2 seconds, and 7 days of image retention.

A 12 port layer 3 POE (Closed IPTV) switch with built in DVD writer, USB ports for evidence retrieval, and capable of viewing cameras live from mobile devices expandable to accommodate up to 16 cameras. External USB DVD-R writer is also acceptable. All video recording equipment will be located in the existing wiring closet.

Tilt Zoom (PTZ) control – via PTZ keyboard using Coaxitron and most popular protocols; Dedicated Micros Oracle dome can be controlled using the new Point & Go feature by clicking an area of the monitor with a mouse.
Include a maximum of 600ft of Cat6 or better cable installation, power supply, and all misc. hardware. Contractor will need to pull any low voltage permits if required. Free air installation above the drop ceiling in conjunction with plenum-rated cable, neatly tied as not to rest on the drop ceiling is acceptable.
E. Video system maintenance contract should be provided and included with replacement parts for duration of contract. Preventative maintenance should be completed semi-annually. The maintenance will be for a base period of one year with the option for two additional one year option periods.
F. Video surveillance equipment should include standard manufacturer warranty for a period of at least one year. Contractor will provide all user guides and original manufacturer paperwork and licensing agreements upon completion of the work.
