Answer: Our current requirement is for a 4 month contract.

10. Question: CLIN 0002 indicates this CLIN is FFP. The text in paragraph 1.2 states, "The Contractor shall submit all materials, parts, supplies and equipment which is acquired for maintenance requirements to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for approval (using the Purchase Request form) prior to making the purchase. The Contractor shall then submit an invoice to the Government for all approved purchases." This statement is implying a Cost Plus CLIN since a Purchase Request form is required and must be approved prior to purchase. Please clarify.

Answer: The contractor does in fact send the COR a purchase request which is reviewed and then either approved or disapproved. The contractor invoices the government (monthly) for the cost of the Purchase Requests. The government reimburses the contractor according to the approved PRs and receipts for the approved PRs. CLIN 0002 should be a cost Clin and will be changed to reflect this and the Government will provide an estimated amount at the time of award.

11. Is the Government allowing for a transition period for the winning contractor?

Answer: : The government will not provide a transition period. The newly hired contracted employees are required to be able to repair ALL the electronic equipment outlined Table 1 of the PWS and in accordance with the time requirements of Table 1.

12. Question: Could the Government please provide the current contract number and the name of the company currently performing the work?
