Document Summary
This is a Kubota Limited Warranty Information Guide effective for products retailed on or after January 1, 2025. The document is issued by Kubota Tractor Corporation and applies to equipment sold, serviced, and operated within the United States of America. The guide details warranty coverage for various Kubota products including compact and utility tractors, large agricultural tractors, hay tools and implements, utility vehicles, turf products, construction equipment, and replacement engines. The warranty is supported by Kubota's regional division offices located in Groveport (Ohio), Suwanee (Georgia), Fort Worth (Texas), Elk Grove (California), and Edgerton (Kansas), with corporate headquarters in Grapevine, Texas.
The warranty coverage varies significantly by product category and usage classification. For compact and utility tractors used for non-commercial purposes, basic standard limited warranty extends 24 months or 1,500 hours (whichever occurs first), with limited powertrain coverage extending 72 months or 2,000 hours. Commercial use tractors receive 24 months or 1,500 hours basic coverage with 36 months or 2,000 hours powertrain coverage. Large agricultural tractors, hay tools, and implements carry 24-month coverage periods. The original battery receives 12 months non-prorated warranty. Service parts are warranted for the time period specified in coverage tables from the date of purchase. Kubota reserves the right to repair or replace defective parts at no charge to the customer for both parts and labor. The warranty covers Genuine Kubota parts only and excludes wear items such as filters, spark plugs, tires, tracks, clutch and brake components, and cutting blades. Additional exclusions encompass abusive operation, natural calamities, improper repairs, unapproved modifications, and use contrary to intended purpose. Separate federal and California emissions control system warranties apply to non-road engines and off-road vehicles with varying coverage periods ranging from two to five years depending on engine type and emissions component classification.
