About this file

This is an addendum to a contract solicitation issued by the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration for Omnissa maintenance support services. Addendum No. 1 revises the Bid Form to include additional product line items for the Synchro Omnissa contract J02P5600037. The addendum specifies the addition of fourteen Omnissa Horizon Universal licenses with VVF for VDI as an add-on to the core offering with concurrent user access, requiring 10 concurrent users with 12 months of production support and prepaid service, and one Omnissa Horizon Sunversal license with VVF for VDI as a core offering with concurrent user access for 50 concurrent users, also requiring 12 months of production support and prepaid service. The additions reflect changes to lines 6 and 7 of page 1 of the Bid Form.

The underlying contract opportunity addresses the Office of Information Technology's need to procure Omnissa maintenance support for Horizon and Workspace One platforms to sustain the current Virtual Desktop Infrastructure supporting up to 500 usable workstations, with a minimum of 350 concurrent daily users. Without continued Omnissa support, the State Highway Administration would lose technical support for its VDI and Workspace One environments, creating operational risk to daily workstation and application services. The addendum was issued on March 2, 2026, by Kimberly Anderson, DOT Procurement Officer.
