And paint entire exteriors of ENA ATCT and base building including base building metal roof, tower catwalk, guard rails and re seal joints.
ENA roof is leaking. The roof leak has caused the ATCT cab window seals to break down and water is now on the interior side of the windows. The paint is peeling off the exterior metal siding and rusting in many areas. The caulking around exterior finishes has deteriorated and needs re-caulking.
Some of the exterior metal panels are approaching severe rusting conditions and may need to be replaced versus repainted. The work described herein will be procured and delivered in accordance with the current FAA standards, meet the minimum uplift requirements per ASCE 7, International Building Code (IBC), FM 1-90, and ASTM D7877 testing. See Appendix A for an additional preview of the existing condition. If there are any conflicts between applicable codes, the most stringent will apply. Any drawings and documentation provided by the FAA regarding the current system are for reference only and will be field verified by the Contractor.
