About this file

The provided document is an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) issued by the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) to select a respondent to provide Children in Need of Services/Families in Need of Services (CINS/FINS), statewide detention respite care services, probation respite bed services, respite bed services for civil citation youth, and evidence-based or promising practices delinquency programming within Florida's 20 judicial circuits. The services sought include designing, creating, developing, implementing, managing, and ensuring coordination of local delivery of residential and non-residential statewide services for CINS/FINS youth and families between the ages of 8 up to 18 years old. The lead agency selected will be responsible for subcontracting with local service providers to deliver the required services and providing management and administrative oversight of the statewide network.

The ITN requests respondents to provide a detailed start-up implementation plan for the first 30 days of activities from the Notice of Agency Decision to contract execution, indicating how the respondent will have services for youth available by July 1, 2024. The plan should cover activities such as staffing, background screening, staff training, recruitment, and establishing the necessary fiscal infrastructure.
