About this file

This is a pricing schedule attachment for Invitation to Bid (ITB) 126991 issued by Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) in Virginia for Plumbing, Heating, Maintenance, and Repair Services. The pricing schedule requires bidders to submit unit prices for labor rates, specific service calls, plumbing repairs, emergency services, materials, and equipment rentals. Labor categories include journeyman plumbers, apprentices/helpers, master plumbers/supervisors, welding personnel, and heating mechanics at both regular and emergency/after-hours rates. Specific service offerings encompass CCTV inspections at various linear footage ranges, plumbing repairs including valve and fixture replacements, drain and sewer services, water service repairs, emergency service calls, and material discounts. Emergency service calls require on-site response within four hours and mandate 24/7 availability. Work not specifically listed shall be performed on a time and materials basis with a detailed written not-to-exceed cost proposal, with proposals exceeding $200,000 potentially subject to separate solicitation.

Bidders must include all labor, supervision, standard tools, trade consumables, overhead, and profit in their unit prices, with materials limited to new original manufacturer-recommended or authorized replacement parts. Portal-to-portal charges and fuel surcharges are prohibited. ACPS retains the right to provide materials or fixtures for installation at contract unit prices, and unusual rental equipment when approved shall be reimbursed at actual cost with no markup. Cost proposals must be furnished at no charge to ACPS, and contractors must make every attempt to obtain the lowest prices for materials and approved rental equipment. The pricing schedule requires bidder certification confirming that submitted prices are complete and accurate and that the bidder understands the scope of work and pricing requirements.
