About this file

This is an Insurance Checklist document related to the City of West Sacramento's Request for Proposal for Utility Bill Printing & Mailing services in California. The RFP solicits qualified firms or individuals to provide comprehensive utility bill printing and mailing services, along with electronic options for customers to view, receive, and pay bills online. The City seeks proposals from vendors capable of handling the full scope of bill distribution and payment processing, with proposals to be submitted in accordance with the RFP terms and the City's contracting procedures. The document establishes synonymous terminology for key contracting terms, including Proposer/Firm/Contractor, Purchase Order/Contract/Agreement, and Services/Work/Scope/Project, to ensure clarity throughout the bidding process.

The Insurance Checklist serves as a risk management and compliance verification tool for evaluating proposer qualifications and insurance coverage requirements. While specific pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, award dates, and proposal submission deadlines are not detailed in this checklist document, it functions as a supplementary document to verify that selected contractors maintain appropriate insurance coverage and meet the City's risk management standards prior to contract execution. This checklist is part of the broader procurement package designed to ensure qualified vendors can fulfill the utility bill printing and mailing obligations while protecting the City's interests.
