DEFINITIONS

1) Comfort -

a. The ability of the OIA Package to not bind, rub or restrict movement.

b. Can the User don the OIA Package for long periods without significant fatigue?

2) Fit -

a. Does the size and shape of the OIA Package conform to the completed measurement form?

b. The ability of the OIA Package to remain in place during the user assessment activities.

3) Flexibility - The ability of the armor to conform to the natural movements of the user.

4) Durability - The ability of the armor to maintain its appearance and integrity through the assessment events. To withstand the assessment events without damage to include rips, tears, punctures, or fraying.

5) Access to Duty Gear - The OIA Package should securely hold duty gear such as magazines, radio and handcuffs while allowing the user to easily access these items.

6) Craftsmanship and Appearance - The OIA Package should exhibit high standards of construction: consistent dyes (when applicable), no loose threads, no stitching errors, no runs, or fabric imperfections.
