Amendment 4 to Body Armor RFP Questions and Answers dated 9/27/22
Industry Question #1: SOW sections 2.16 and 7.3 appear to specify that the connector be four inches in width. Will the agency accept a connector that is greater than four inches in width, in order to accommodate three webbing straps, aligning with the side cummerbund?
Government Answer #1: The Government is willing to consider a buckle system greater than 4” inches but no larger than the width of the cummerbund.
Industry Question #2: If exactly four inches in width is mandatory to meet the agency’s needs, why?

Industry Question #3: If a connecter greater than four inches in width is permitted, is there a maximum width?
Government Answer #3: The Government is willing to consider a buckle system greater than 4” inches but no larger than the width of the cummerbund.
Industry Question #4: Will connecters that are wider than four inches in width be evaluated differently than a connecter that is exactly four inches in width?
Government Answer #4: No, the Government will evaluate ALL buckle systems consistently IAW the technical specifications listed in the statement of work (SOW) under sections 2.16 and 7.3 and the clarifications contained in these above Q&A.
