About this file

This is Addendum 1 to Request for Proposal (RFP) #HV-910-020526 for Gym Floor Refinishing and Repair Services issued by a school district. The project involves refinishing gym floors and establishing rates for potential future repair services. The bid date and time remain unchanged at 12:00 PM on Monday, October 5, 2026. The addendum was issued on September 24, 2026 and addresses clarifications requested by bidders regarding contractor qualifications and project scope.

The addendum clarifies that prime contractors must independently satisfy the three-year experience requirement outlined in Section 1.1 and cannot fulfill this requirement through documented experience of named subcontractors, with the school district preferring no subcontractors be utilized. Additionally, the addendum confirms that while repairs are not currently needed, the district seeks to establish hourly rates and fees for potential repair services that may arise in the future. No photos of damaged areas were referenced, and the scope focuses on establishing a pricing structure for contingent repair work rather than immediate remediation needs.
