SYNOPSIS

Solicitation Number: HTC71118RR007

Background The purpose of this synopsis is to notify interested parties the USTRANSCOM Acquisition Directorate anticipates issuance of a solicitation to provide all personnel, supervision, training, and equipment necessary to perform all tasks as identified in the PWS for intermodal equipment leasing and transportation services, information technology support, and related container support functions to meet the Government missions and exercises for peacetime, contingency, disaster, and humanitarian operations on a global basis.

In order to be eligible to receive a contract, interested vendors MUST have current registration at time of award, including completed representations and certifications, on the Government System for Award Management (SAM) database found at https://www.sam.gov. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

Description The contractor shall assume all responsibility, liability, and costs for the providing, transporting, and managing Department of Defense (DOD) intermodal equipment lease task orders. The contractors’ responsibilities include, but are not limited to: (1) Contract management; (2) providing intermodal equipment for lease; (3) delivery and redelivery of leased equipment; and

(4) interfacing with a Government-owned leasing database.

The NAICS code is 532411. A Request for Proposal (RFP) is anticipated to be posted in July, 2018. No hardcopies of this solicitation will be issued. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by USTRANSCOM/TCAQ. The solicitation will be posted in its entirety at this website.

The period of performance will include a base period and four one-year option periods.
