SOLICITATION HTC711-10-R-R004

QUESTIONS & RESPONSES

Questions 5-6

5) With respect to the pRFID tags, can you specify exactly what level of detail is required for info contained on the pRFID?

RESPONSE: The information is all provided by e-RMS. As the carrier builds his pallets and creates the pallet manifest, the pRFID pallet tag is printed from e-RMS when the manifest is printed.

6) Also, can you advise which ATAC locations currently have the pRFID requirement for their outbound shipments?

RESPONSE: Currently only Hub San Diego is producing the pallet pRFID tags.

However, I anticipate Norfolk to be active by October 2010.
