Q&A – Medical Laundry Services for Bremerton & Bangor

1. There seem to be a discrepancy in between the price schedule and PWS. PWS states total 330,000 lbs. of linen, while the price schedule indicates 66,000 lbs. yearly. Please clarify.

The PWS states 330,000 lbs. as the total linen volume over the entire 5-year contract period. For Bremerton, the total is 300,000 lbs. and for Bangor it is 30,000 lbs.

The Excel pricing sheet uses two separate Contract Line-Item Numbers (CLINs) to reflect this: one for Bremerton and one for Bangor.

Tab 1 of the spreadsheet provides the overall pricing for each CLIN across all option years.

Separate tabs (Year 1, Year 2, etc.) show the pricing per year for each CLIN, allowing you to see the annual volume and associated cost for each location.

To clarify:

Total 5-Year Volume: 330,000 lbs. (combined Bremerton & Bangor)

Bremerton (5-Year Total): 300,000 lbs.

Bangor (5-Year Total): 30,000 lbs.
