SOLICITATION H9402-13-R-0002
ACTIVE DUTY DENTAL PROGRAM (ADDP)
QUESTION AND ANSWER (Q&A) SET #5
1. Reference Exhibit A and Attachment J-2 - Amendment 1 clarified that D9999 is a covered procedure. The Exhibit A CDT pricing table shows a quantity of 7,900 D9999 CDT codes to price. These codes, by definition, are by report only and can vary dramatically in scope and price. How does the government want the offeror to price the D9999 codes for evaluation purposes?
Answer: As stated in the RFP under paragraph L.8.4.2.: “When developing the unit prices in Exhibit A, CDT Pricing Table, offerors may make their own assessments of the projected volume for each CDT code combining their own business judgment of the TRICARE Active Duty Dental Program and utilizing best industry practices regarding their assumptions of utilization levels or any other data. For purposes of the Government’s evaluation, it will utilize the estimated quantities as depicted in Exhibit A. The estimated quantities do not represent a commitment on the part of the Government that these quantities will actually occur over the course of the contract.”
