Subject: Draft Request For Proposal
To Whom It May Concern:
The Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is interested in receiving feedback from interested contractors regarding the draft Request For Proposal (RFP) for the
Multirole Enforcement Aircraft (MEA). CBP is seeking responses from interested contractors that address the following:
- Intent to submit a proposal
- A notional idea of what your company will propose
- If the RFP provides adequate information? For instance, o Does the RFP adequately address Government Furnished Equipment specifications to allow offerors the ability to determine other system components o Does the RFP adequately address the installation of Government Furnished Equipment for the MEA Prototype?
o Does the RFP adequately depict offerors responsibility for the MEA Prototype o Does the RFP adequately describe offerors responsibility for delivering fully missionized
MEAs (including GFE) after the MEA prototype?
- If there is anything in the requirements or source selection that may make them less likely to submit a proposal?
