Questions and Answers 3 (HE125421Q4000)

Question 8: PWS 1.3 states that the scope of work includes event setup.

Could you provide us with the specific events schedules or any event that could be expected? (For example, school Christmas events, holiday sporting events, etc.)

Answer 8: A complete schedules of activities has not been established but some examples of support could include chair/table set up for graduations, school holiday events, school ceremonies, etc. A schedule will be developed with the intent to provide support for an event no more than once per week.

The COR will manage the workload and prioritize assignments based on importance and submission dates.

Question 9: What type of workload could be included in an event setup? (For example, decorating high place at Christmas, moving desks and chairs between classrooms, setting up and cleaning up the bleachers in the gymnasium.)

Answer 9: The type of workload included in an event setup would be limited to moving tables, chairs, and small equipment. There is not an expectation to clean bleachers, the gymnasium, or other areas.

Only the setup for the event.

Question 10: If the schedules of the events overlap, considerable number of workers will be required to complete the task. In that case, are the contractors required to procure necessary manpower to complete the job?

Answer 10:

The COR will manage the schedule of support required and prioritize assignments based on importance and submission dates. If requests overlap dates, the COR will work with school personnel to find alternative means for event setup not related to this contract.

Question 11: PWS 2.7.1 states that logistical support will not exceed once a week, but does that mean contractors will provide logistical support once per week total, or does that mean the contractors will be required to provide logistical support to each of the facilities once per week?

Answer 11:

The logistical support for the schools will be limited to once per week in total, and NOT to provide logistical support to each of the facilities once per week.
