RFP HC102818R0102 Armed Guards Questions and Answers

1. Will DISA sponsor a contractor for their FCL under this solicitation?

RESPONSE: The SOW requires contractors to have a Final Secret FCL to work this contract. Since it has been taking over a year to get final FCL we cannot accept vendor’s without already having a final clearance.

2. Is this a new opportunity or follow on contract? If this is a follow on, what is the incumbent contract number and who is the incumbent? What is the total value of the current contract if this is a follow-on contract?

RESPONSE: This is a new requirement for the DISA ecosystem restructure.

3. Will the government be sponsoring a company for the secret clearance as required in this RFP?

RESPONSE: The SOW requires contractors to have a Final Secret FCL to work this contract. Since it has been taking over a year to get final FCL we cannot accept vendor’s without already having a final clearance.

4. The base PoP says 1 June 2019 - 31 May 2020 however your proposal closing date is 2 October 2018. Is this PoP correct and you will expect any offerors to honor a proposal acceptance period 9 month from submission? Or will the PoPs be adjusted with an earlier award decision?

RESPONSE: The RFP PoP is correct.

5. Your clause at 52.232-19, Availability of Funds for the Next Fiscal Year is incomplete. Can you please advise of these "fill-in" dates.

RESPONSE: The fill-in dates are To Be Determined
