A3: This refers to the testing program in general.

Q4: In 4.5, “conduct…validation studies” is stated. Can you provide more information on the scope of studies that will have to be conducted?

Q:5 In 4.7.4, the vendor is asked to “conduct validation studies”. Will the successful vendor be required to handle all logistics for these studies to include working with DoD training organizations to secure cooperation? How many studies are anticipated?

A5: The vendor will not be required to work with DoD training organizations. Data regarding follow-on training will be provided by the government. The validation studies will address the two areas given in 4.7.4.

Q6: For 4.9.1, will the government or the vendor be responsible for identifying, recruiting and compensating the SMEs (panelists) for the standard setting study? How many panelists would the accept as minimum if vendor must be responsible?

A6: The government will be responsible for providing the site and the panelists for the standard setting study.
