RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS RECEIVED: H92240-18-T-0035, Request for Information for Marine/Vessel Charter/
Q1: Does DFARS 207.470 apply to this procurement?
R1: Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS) is applicable to this procurement.
Q2: Is contractor permitted to offer more than one vessel as available options?
R2: The Government has yet to issue a formal solicitation for a Marine/Vessel lease. Q3: Inspection - If an available vessel is abroad (eg., Greece) would an exception be made to transport vessel to an OCONUS site closest to where the vessel is situs?
R3: The vessel lease and inspection will take place in the United States. Lease will originate and cease in the United States and the Government will not provide personnel to travel OCONUS to inspect foreign vessels.
